A guy lost his girlfriend in a train accident.... but the gal's name nowhere appeared in the dead list.
This guy grew up n became IT technical architect in his late 20?s, achievement in itself!!He hired developers from the whole globe and plan to make a software where he could search for his gf through the web.. Things went as planned... n he found her, after losing millions of dollars and 3 long years!! It was time to shut down the search operation, when the CEO of Google had a word with this guy n took over this application, This Software made a whopping 1 billion dollars profit in its first year, which we today know as ORKUT.


The guy's name is ORKUT BUYUKKOTEN Yes its named after him only. Today he is paid a hefty sum by Google for the things we do like scrapping. He is expected to b the richest person by 2009.. ORKUT BUYUKKOTEN today has 13 assistants to monitor his scrapbook & 8 to monitor his friends-list. He gets around 20,000 friend-requests a day & about 85,000 scraps!!! Well do paid surveys , really work...hard question to answer i guess. In fact study show that only 30% of all paid surveys available on the Internet actually pay. Also, paid surveys get a lot of users owing to their dislike of PTC, PPC etc. Paid surveys are easy to handle. But many don't realise the fact, that cheating a paid survey is not all the simple. First of most surveys mostly built for US, UK and Canada citizens, there are hardly any surveys applicable for International Consumers. Also if u look closely, most of these surveys include Q which are repetitive to check ur authenticity.

Ezine had a article claming Asian sites were developing a high amount of PPC because of cheap labour employed in their Tier 2/2 cities where unemployed youth are given a chance to make a few quid by clicking on Sites based on some promotions.

This story had not gone well with Google. The amount adsense pays to publishers is very much associated with how much advertisers are bidding for those terms.if advertisers don't care much for asian traffic and aren't trying to sell to them, then they will spend considerably less on advertising to them.and yes, for the most part, advertisers are more interested in traffic from english-speaking countries than asian countries.

Some say it depends on interior locations too. It also depends where in Asia the clicks are coming from. In China you would be lucky to get over 5 cents. There is a lot of click fraud in some Asian countries and this also has an impact.The other thing is many Asian countries are not accustomed to buying things on their credit card or signing up to stuff, so the conversion rates can be quite low.

According to Zhou Wenbiao, director for online sales and operations of Google (GOOG) Asia-Pacific, Google AdSense will launch an e-payment service for its Chinese publishers before the end of 2008.
Zhou refuses to reveal which company will become Google's partner to jointly offer the e-payment service in China and only says that the company will cooperate with the third-parties and banks to promote an e-payment service which is suitable for the Chinese local market.
Google AdSense mailed its payments to its Chinese publishers by check when it first entered the Chinese market three years ago and since 2007, it has been cooperating with Western Union and shortened the payment cycle from 60 days to seven days. If the e-payment method is launched, the period will be further shortened.
As an advertisement serving program run by Google, AdSense allows website owners to enroll in this program to enable text, image and video advertisements on their websites. These advertisements are administered by Google and generate revenue on either a per-click or per-impression basis.

Peace-- Guess where n all u heard it....Hmmmmm..well everywhere isn't it. Gandhi saying..OK...then there was Nehru..speaking about it( ironically the Chinese weren't listening). Aishwarya Rai uttered them too..World Peace!!!!...But guess what!!!!!!!!!.... is this word really followed by a community or just is it a individuals dictionary prologue.
Man has never been in peace with himself or his community for the very reason that he sees himself different from others. Hitler i guess was the only man who practised what he preached( well that didn't end well, as we all know).
Truth is we are too fragile to understand that hatred is bullshit & superiority n inferiority are just terms that have no meaning when it comes to life.
